The World Series of Video Games has expanded its deal with CBS Sports.  In addition to WSVG coverage there will be four hourlong specials on the Eye web that will offer coverage of tournaments and follow the players that compete in them through the year.  The specials will film in Louisville, KY. Dallas, TX. Los Angeles, CA.  and the finale in Sweden.  All four hours of program time will air during the CBS Sports Spectacular block beginning in July, the finale will air in December.

WSVG’s events feature as many as 1,500 competitors and attract audiences of up to 100,000 people, depending on location.  The televised events will feature tournaments in Guitar Hero II, World of Warcraft and Fight Night Round 3.
