Ever since Steve Jobs announced the iPhone in January, the cell phone industry has been dizzy to compete on the hype alone. Now that iPhone has delivered the goods the cell industry is even more frantic to find a respectable competitor. A very unlikely, and by unlikely I mean unheard of, player called Sophia Mobile has stepped up to the challenge with a device called the Nani.

Sure, this thing looks like it may be a strong competitor, but we’ll see. Oh yes, we shall see. I <3 iPhone by the way.

As the best day ever gets oh so near, the knock-off industry is in quite a buzz. Engadget.com has compiled a pretty serious list of iPhone knock-offs. Some actually look quite similar, but lack most of the functionality except that they make phone calls (allegedly).

It’s official, I am completely obsessed with the iPhone. I mean, I was after watching Steve Jobs introduction of the device. Now there are three enticing commercials to amp up the anticipation of the now “official” June 29th release date. Come June 29th, I will do whatever the heck I have to do to get one of these things. I will kill babies if they get in my way.
